Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate

Position Summary

Sam’s Club #8250 is looking for a Freezer, Cooler and Deli Stocker Associate to keep shelves stocked, maintain sanitary conditions, and provide excellent customer service in the deli department. The successful candidate will support both food safety and member satisfaction while working as part of a team that values teamwork, growth, and innovation.

• Maintain the safety of the facility by following all safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, performing forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Maintain the sales floor and merchandise presentation in the freezer, cooler, and deli area by zoning the area, receiving and stocking merchandise, setting up and cleaning product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and completing required audits and documentation.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, locating merchandise, assisting with purchasing decisions, providing deli products, resolving issues, and promoting company products and services.
• Follow all food handling policies and Cold Chain procedures, operate and sanitize equipment, monitor freezer/cooler fans, drains and doors, and report any issues to management.
• Ensure high-quality products are available, shelves are clean, temperature control is maintained, expiration dates are verified, and lower-quality products are disposed of. Pack ready‑to‑sell products in proper containers and maintain a clean, sanitized, member‑ready area.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00*.
* The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
