Responsibilities
- Maximize product inventory, including processing freight, organizing and distributing inventory, pulling & stocking merchandise, building displays and end caps, and placing signage.
- Support digital business operations by fulfilling online orders and assisting with in‑store and curbside pick‑up and delivery services, including driving and making deliveries if assigned.
- Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers, engaging to build relationships, and informing them about products and services.
- Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
- Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
- Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
- Complete cross‑functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
- Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and procedures and abiding by all traffic and safety laws.
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience; 1+ year in a retail setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems and inventory management software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as business requires, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Walk, bend down repeatedly, and be on feet for 8–10 hours a day.
- Safely lift, load, and handle cases and pallets.
- Climb ladders and lift 50 lbs. overhead repeatedly.
- May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions throughout the workday.
