We are a rapidly growing manufacturer’s rep firm based in Texas that represents commercial HVAC products. We are currently seeking a Parts Counter Sales person responsible for processing customer orders and responding to customer inquiries. The role requires strong attention to detail, a customer‑service orientation, and the ability to work well with others.
Responsibilities- Conduct sales of HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies over the phone, by email, and over the counter.
- Promptly identify parts and process quotes & orders for customers.
- Actively make customers aware of product promotions.
- May load and unload shipments of parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Respond to customer inquiries, questions, or concerns regarding products or services.
- Record inventory discrepancies.
- Follow up with customers.
- Determine best methods to resolve customer issues.
- Develop & maintain relationships with customers and business partners.
- Exhibit strong organizational and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Computer skills are essential; HVAC parts background preferred.
- Experience in HVAC, Mechanical Contracting, Engineering, or Construction industry is a plus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to operate a computer keyboard and telephone, reach with hands and arms, stand, walk, and sit. The employee may occasionally need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and must lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
