Armed Flex Officer

Overview

Silver Shield Inc. is seeking dedicated On-Call Armed Security Officers to join our team. This on-call position maintains a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors. The role requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and knowledge of law enforcement procedures.

• Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
• Foot patrol and stair navigation as part of routine security duties.
• Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
• Provide assistance and guidance to employees and visitors in emergency situations.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and prevent unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards.
• Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2-3 years of experience as an armed officer or in a similar role (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle to post in
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Active Level III guard card
• CPR certification and first aid training to provide immediate medical assistance if needed
