Refrigeration Service Technician - Commercial & Industrial

• Assist in the repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Provide service by repairing and overhauling equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner.
• Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, gas furnaces, and electric motors.
• Conduct preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and resolve operating deficiencies to ensure quality performance.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history.
• Process job tickets and work orders, deliver and install cases, and support department operations.
• Perform minor construction and remodeling projects, including startup of new installations.
• Drive company vehicle safely and maintain a good driving record.
• Provide other related duties and projects as assigned by management.

• High school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification.
• Certification from an accredited vocational‑technical or trade school is a plus.
• Minimum 3‑4 years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in boxes.
• Good driving record and ability to work independently.
• Emergency on‑call availability.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance and to sit or stand for several hours.
