• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish

• Communicate with customers and staff in a friendly, professional manner

• Effectively update customers on parts status

• Read and understand the parts catalog to identify and discuss specific parts

• Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and offer accurate information to customers

• Review body shop estimates to ensure correct parts and pricing alignment

• Deliver high-level service to both internal and external customers

• Pull and fill orders from stock; maintain weekly bin checks to ensure inventory accuracy

• Notify the parts manager of out-of-stock items or materials needing immediate attention

• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and place emergency orders when necessary

• Ensure all internal parts requests are properly billed on service repair orders

• Receive payment from retail customers or obtain credit authorization

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior auto parts sales experience preferred

• Eager to grow and improve in a dynamic work environment

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills

• Ability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documents

• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, percentages, proportions, and volume

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
