Youth Therapist in McComb, MS

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related behavioral health field required
• Mental health Certification (PCMHT or CMHT) and/or license (LPC, LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, LMFTA) within 30 days of employment
• At least two years of clinical experience working with children and youth with serious emotional disturbances and families with complex needs
• Valid driver license, good driving record, proof of legally appropriate auto liability insurance, and willingness to use personal vehicle for organizational business

• Deliver all mental health services (individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, substance abuse treatment, etc.)
• Complete all required clinical assessments
• Provide clinical oversight and interventions related to crisis management plans, individualized service plans, and Wrap‑Around Meetings in coordination with the Primary Service Coordinator
• Offer targeted clinical interventions based on each youth’s needs through various assessments and plans
• Complete required assessments and case documentation for each individual in a timely manner and within program requirements
• Provide around‑the‑clock support for child/family through on‑call services
