Orthodontic Assistant

At Haugen Orthodontics we offer compassionate, state-of-the-art orthodontic care and treatment options to patients of all ages. We know that although straight teeth mean a beautiful smile and improved patient self-esteem for our patients, straight teeth and good bite are also important when it comes to maintaining overall oral health. Our experienced team believe in crafting and delivering personalized orthodontic treatments to help patients reach their goals without pain or stress.

We are currently looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our amazing team.

This position will be 3-4 days per week Monday-Friday. (No weekends.) There will be some travel to other locations.

• Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Take and develop x-rays as directed by the orthodontist.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.

• No prior orthodontic or dental experience is required. We are happy to train the right candidate who is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn.
