Position:Responsible for providing administrative direction and leadership for Business & Humanities within Academic Affairs. Supervises faculty and staff, provides leadership in the development and implementation of academic activities such as curriculum development, course scheduling, and dual credit, is responsible for hiring of faculty, and assists the Vice President with faculty and student issues. The position will be located in McCook, with travel between campuses required.
About us:Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two‑year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the area.

Master’s degree required;
Ph.D. preferred. Two years of teaching experience and two years of supervisory work experience are required. The successful candidate should be an innovative and creative thinker with strong organizational and communication skills. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.
