Position: CIVIL ENGINEER

Duties

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct complex studies and develop annual and short-term operation plans, including runoff forecasts using current forecasting techniques and properly developed formulas.
  • Provide oversight of reservoir operations to support effective and efficient water management.
  • Develop or modify reservoir operating criteria to maximize the beneficial use of stored water and support operational objectives.
  • Performs or coordinates technical planning activities and reviews technical documentation including operating procedures, impact assessments, and emergency action plans.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to lower-graded employees assisting with implementation of the reservoir operations program.
