Contract Med/Surg Registered Nurse
Position for a 13-week assignment near McCook, Nebraska. Provide night shift nursing care to adult patients in a hospital setting. Earn competitive pay and benefits while contributing to patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care to adult patients during night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Assess patient conditions, develop individualized care plans, and execute treatments in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to safety standards.
- Document patient observations, interventions, and responses accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, state regulations, and certification requirements, including BLS and ACLS.
- Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state of Nebraska or compact state.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; additional certifications may be required.
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience in a hospital setting.
- Ability to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt to block scheduling arrangements.
