Full-time Med Surg/ER Registered Nurse
Full-time Med Surg/ER Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a rural hospital setting. The role supports medical-surgical and emergency department teams, delivering high-quality nursing care and collaborating with interdisciplinary staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in Med Surg and Emergency settings
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to established standards
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
- Respond to emergency situations quickly and effectively
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (or compact state eligibility)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire
- TNCC certification required within 6 months of hire
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ASN or BSN) required
Skills:
