AP Specialist Opportunity in South Atlanta!

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is seeking an AP Specialist to join their team for a contract role. The ideal candidate has strong experience completing payments and controlling expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

• Process vendor and subcontractor invoices accurately and timely, adhering to contract terms and discounts.
• Maintain W-9 forms, and 1099 processing.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve discrepancies related to accounts payable.
• Perform and monitor accounts payable account reconciliations, ensuring all balances are accurate and timely.
• Purchase order matching.
• Assist in month-end close processes, including accruals, aging, and other reports.

• 2-4 years of accounting experience in AP.
• Associate or higher in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience using Quick Books, Excel, and other construction ERP systems
• Construction industry experience is highly desirable.
• Collaborative, deadline-driven and organized.
