Position:
Teachers working off contract hours providing supplemental services for English Learners

Rate: $45.00 per hour

• Title III English Learner Supplemental Tutoring for select ELs ($45.00 per hour for up to 6hours per day) to be held in June, focusing on supplemental work with language acquisition/development/academic vocabulary, and Literacy for each student in small groups or individually.

Duties will include:

• Maintain EL attendance and activity log.
• Prepare English Learner Learning Plans in language development/academic vocabulary, Literacy and/or content area support for each student.
• Provide feedback to students using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage, motivate, or build confidence in students.
• Collaborate with students, parents, teachers, school administrators, or counselors to determine student needs, develop tutoring plans, or assess student progress.
• Preparing activity/lesson plans for tutoring sessions according to student needs and goals.
• Providing individual or small group instruction to students to improve academic performance in the identified areas of need.
• Monitoring progress and analyzing data to tailor instruction based on the students’ specific needs.
