Controller, Finance & Banking, Financial Manager

We are seeking an accomplished Controller with 15-plus years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate for this hands‑on position will possess a strong background in accounting and finance, demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, and have a proven track record of driving operational excellence. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly desirable.

• Oversee all aspects of the company’s accounting and finance operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, AP, AR, cash management, some payroll functions and analysis.
• Perform month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial statements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Manage and mentor the accounting team; foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Collaborate with executive management to provide strategic financial guidance supporting business growth and profitability.
• Perform audits, tax filings, and other statutory requirements with external auditors and advisors.
• Analyze manufacturing cost structures and work closely with operations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare, review, and present financial reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements and leverage technology to enhance financial operations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• 15-plus years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry strongly preferred.
• CPA certification highly desirable.
• Deep understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, legal contracts, payroll, banking and finance, and internal controls.
• Proven track record in leading teams and managing complex projects.
• Must be willing and able to tackle the daily workflow in hands‑on manner.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Experience with cost accounting and inventory management.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
