Phlebotomist II Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist II to join our new IOP account at Reliance Family Care. This role supports daily phlebotomy operations, provides training and workflow guidance, and ensures accurate specimen collection and processing. The ideal candidate is skilled, reliable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care.

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection following established procedures.
• Clearly explain blood draw and specimen collection processes to patients.
• Demonstrate proficiency with straight and butterfly needle techniques.
• Review and interpret physician orders accurately.
• Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and prepare specimens for transport.
• Ensure accuracy between requisition forms and specimen labels.
• Maintain specimen integrity through proper storage and handling.

• 2 years of phlebotomy experience
• Strong venipuncture and specimen processing skills
• Experience working with pediatric and geriatric patients
• Ability to manage high-volume daily draws (30–40 per day)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of McDonough, GA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $22.00/hr.
