VP, Information Technology; ERP​/Supply Chain

Overview

Optomi, in partnership with a leading beverage distribution company, is looking for a VP-Information Technology to join their team in McDonough, GA. The VP of Information Technology is responsible for managing and overseeing the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and security of the Company's IT infrastructure, systems, and strategies. This includes establishing the strategic and operational direction for IT needs in collaboration with Company leadership, and ensuring the integrity, reliability, and security of computerized information, communication, and office systems.

• 8+ years of experience leading IT teams, up to 20+ individuals.
• Solid leadership experience with a technical background in supply chain or beverage distribution.
• Experience in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems, including Mulesoft.
• Proven ability to lead teams and mentor others in a hands-on environment.

• Manage all employees within the IT department, including recruiting, hiring, training, performance reviews, and termination.
• Identify and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and assess the costs and benefits of upgrades.
• Monitor and report progress on development projects and resource utilization to leadership.
• Maintain backup and disaster recovery platforms to ensure efficient restoration of systems.
• Work with various departments to ensure a teamwork atmosphere and define business needs.
