Maintenance Supervisor

* Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

** Work with Maintenance Planners to prioritize and complete planned maintenance activities and job assignments. Identifies skills/training needs for maintenance personnel and assists in the development and implementation of training programs.

Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
** Required Skills, Education,

Experience:

** Three (3) plus years related experience supervising a maintenance crew, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Five (5) plus years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with preventative and predictive maintenance systems. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume, and apply concepts of basic algebra. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

High degree of independence, judgment, attention to detail and time management skills. Must have working knowledge in the areas of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulics. Ability to write regular reports and correspondence.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees. Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Computer Maintenance Management Software Associate degree: or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
