Service Shop Foreman

M-F, 7:30A - 4:30P

Ability to direct day to day operation of a service shop with a diverse product line. Work with Service Manager and Service Advisors to coordinate repairs of customer vehicles. Meet time schedules and maintain productivity levels of tech. Maintain quality standards while maintaining a safe, clean environment and a professional atmosphere.

Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Oher duties may be assigned.

• Evaluates all estimates for jobs to maintain profitability
• Reviews repair orders for accuracy
• Maintains a safe working environment
• Maintains a clean working environment
• Work closely with Service Manager and Service Advisors
• Others duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians in the repair of customer vehicles
• Supervise workflow in shop to maintain efficiency
• Supervise maintenance of shop equipment and tooling
• Supervise technicians in maintaining current training and certifications

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Must have High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years' related experience and/or training
• Must also have prior supervisory and/or management experience
• Previous experience/knowledge mechanical or diesel knowledge
• Experience working in shop environment
• Experience reviewing repair orders and estimates
• Experience with Decisiv, Excede, and/or OWL warranty systems are a plus
