Countertop Quality Control Specialist

Overview

Gran Co is looking for a detail-oriented Counter top Quality Control Specialist to join our growing team in McDonough. This role serves as a critical checkpoint between Sales, Templating, Programming, and Production to ensure every job is accurate, complete, and ready for fabrication and installation. If you have experience in counter top fabrication, templating, installation, cabinetry, or construction, this could be the perfect opportunity to leverage your expertise and make a direct impact on quality and customer satisfaction.

• Review templates, drawings, work orders, and project documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Verify materials, edge details, back splashes, cutouts, overhangs, and installation requirements.
• Identify and resolve potential production or installation issues before fabrication begins.
• Work closely with Sales, Templating, Programming, Scheduling, and Operations teams.
• Create and maintain complete fabrication packets.
• Help reduce remakes, service calls, material waste, and production delays.
• Support continuous improvement efforts across the operation.

• 3+ years of experience in counter top fabrication, installation, templating, quality control, or related construction trades.
• Strong understanding of counter top manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read blueprints, cabinet drawings, and construction plans.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
