Production Associate

Production Associate – McDonough, GA

Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety‑oriented individuals to join our team as a Production Associate in our climate‑controlled facility in McDonough, GA.

• $21.00 per hour
• Shift differential: $1.00 per hour for shifts between 7 pm and 7 am
• Potential to increase compensation based on skills and plant performance
• Eligible for Performance Pay program with up to 6% quarterly bonus

• Facility operates a Dupont schedule: rotating 12‑hour shifts, 6:45 pm – 7 pm and 6:45 pm – 7 am. Days off between night and day rotations.
• Must be able to work this schedule
• McDonough operates on a point‑based attendance program

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or entry into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties, including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area
• Work as a team to help meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment

• Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, military environment, or completion of post‑high school education in manufacturing/industrial
• Will work rotating 12‑hour shifts, with a 7‑day break in every 28‑day period

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• One (1) year or more experience in a manufacturing and/or industrial environment
• Experience working in the corrugated packaging industry

• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day in a loud/noisy, industrial, high‑volume environment
