Job Description , Muscadine, ALABAMA Responsibilities
  • Provide great patient care.
  • Answer patient calls and determine how best to assist them.
  • Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities Toilet & Walking, Standing, Exercising, Eating/Diet, Medication Assistance, Vital Signs, Basic First Aid and CPR, Hygiene:
    Bathing, Grooming, Shaving, Dental Care, Dressing
  • Obtain a wide range of information from physicians, caregivers, and nurses about patient condition, treatment plans, and suggested activities.
  • Following the client's service plan & documenting any changes in the client’s condition
  • Ensure patients receive an appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences.
  • Measure and record food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
  • Record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff.
  • Ambulation and transfer, including positioning;
    Turn and reposition bedridden patients
  • Examine patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in urine
  • Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements
  • Note/Document observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses
  • Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedures
  • Home management, home safety and sanitation;
    Infection control in the home

Rate of Pay

$15.00/HR - $18.00/HR WILLING NEGOTIATE PAY RATE

Must be willing to travel at least 30 minutes outside of your residential area.

Position Requirements
  • 1-2 years’ work experience
  • Basic Health and Tuberculosis Screening
  • Participate in Quality Improvement Program
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • State Certified Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA only)
  • PCA/HHA Must complete a state certified exam (Will discuss during onboarding)
  • Current CPR (American Heart Association)
  • Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff?
  • members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
