Job Title: Skilled Nurse (RN) – Contract Position

First Choice Homecare Agency is seeking a skilled and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home skilled nursing services for a client in McDonough, GA. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with a flexible schedule based on physician orders.

• Female client
• Requires skilled nursing services
• Care includes:
  • TPN (Total Parenteral Nutrition) management and administration
  • Medication administration (subcutaneous injections)
  • Abdominal Drain care and Monitoring
• Schedule:
  
  To Be Determined (pending physician orders and authorization)

• $40–$50 per hour (based on experience and case complexity)
• OR $60 per visit (depending on services provided)

• Deliver skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and plan of care
• Manage and monitor TPN administration
• Medication administration
• Perform drain care, assessments, and interventions
• Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
• Follow all agency, Medicaid, and state regulatory requirements

• Active Georgia/Compact RN or license (in good standing)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (homecare, ICU preferred)
• Current CPR/BLS or ACLS certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a criminal background check in accordance with Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities standards
• Negative TB screening/test
• Proof of professional liability insurance (required for 1099 contractors)
• Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Experience with IV therapy/TPN strongly preferred

Contractors must complete and maintain all required trainings in accordance with Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities guidelines, including but not limited to:

• Abuse, Neglect, and Exploitation Prevention
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Emergency Preparedness & Safety Procedures
• Incident Reporting (Critical Incident Reporting)
• Any additional DBHDD-required trainings applicable to the case

Proof of completed trainings will be required prior to assignment. Assistance may be provided to obtain required trainings.
