Freight Flow Associate

• Comply with company policies, procedures and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices.
• Operate forklifts following company standards and guidelines to safely pick up, move, place and position merchandise pallets.
• Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other business partners to identify priorities, deadlines and expectations, and by communicating progress and recommending improvement opportunities.
• Receive stocks and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers by managing inventory flow, utilizing equipment appropriately, maintaining working inventory, correcting shelf capacities and keeping required paperwork and logs.
• Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support on self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues and concerns, and promoting company products and services.
• Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, adhering to steel standard guidelines, correcting unsafe situations and reporting them to management.
• Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning the area, stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up cleaning and organizing product displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging and delivering merchandise, and ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal items.
• Ensure club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking, staging, and auditing orders to meet company policy and timing requirements.
• Handle inventory movements and displays safely, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, control shrinkage, report poor inventory practices, and use inventory tools and equipment properly.
• Operate and maintain forklifts safely, report unsafe conditions or practices, and inform management when forklifts are not in proper working order.
• Proactively identify customers who need help with technology services, engage them, assist with services and items, model and help others with technology services, identify and solve shrink or product issues, and maintain equipment and product organization.

• 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.
• Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Hourly wage: $19.00 to $27.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation may include premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
