WhatYou’ll Do
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll help grow Openwork’s presence in the local market by building relationships with businesses and helping them solve their workforce needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and growing an assigned sales territory
- Prospecting and meeting with business owners and hiring managers
- Conducting discovery conversations to understand hiring needs
- Developing long‑term client partnerships and opening new accounts
- Collaborating with recruiting and operations teams to deliver results
- Driving revenue and contributing to branch growth
- Base salary + commission

Before managing your own territory, you’ll complete a 3‑6 month training program starting as a Staffing Specialist. During this time, you will:
- Learn the staffing industry and hiring process
- Understand the full candidate lifecycle
- Develop service delivery, communication, and problem‑solving skills
- Work closely with leadership for coaching and mentorship
