We are seeking a skilled and dependable Make Ready Technician to help prepare apartment homes for new residents. What You'll DoAs a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring vacant apartment homes are turned quickly and efficiently while meeting company quality standards.
Essential Responsibilities- Prepare vacant apartment homes for new move‑ins by completing all make‑ready tasks in a timely manner.
- Perform painting, drywall repairs, touch‑ups, cleaning, and minor carpentry work.
- Complete basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and HVAC repairs as needed.
- Replace fixtures, blinds, light bulbs, filters, and other apartment components.
- Inspect completed apartment homes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and report any additional maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Maintain organized inventory of make‑ready supplies and materials.
- Assist with general maintenance requests and property upkeep as needed.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, prospects, vendors, and team members.
- Previous apartment maintenance or make‑ready experience preferred.
- Knowledge of painting, drywall, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- HVAC certification is a plus.
