Pest Technician

• Perform industry-leading pest management services for residential customers
• Inspect client properties for pest infestations, damage, and entry points
• Determine the type of pest infestation
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps
• Educate customers on pest prevention and maintaining pest-free environments
• Advise customers on reducing future infestation risks
• Build customer relationships
• Schedule and confirm customer appointments
• Assist with sales to current customers and expand products to new customers
• Maintain, stock, and ensure the proper working condition of pest control equipment
• Comply with local, state, and federal pest control and safety regulations
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle
• Communicate with clients about pest control solutions

• Clean-shaven face required for respirator safety
• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid driver's license from state of residence
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/or local regulations; covered by the employer
• Availability to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills sufficient to follow product-label mixing instructions
• Customer-facing experience preferred
• Ability to work in tight, confined spaces
• Ability to work around animals, insects, termites, mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in the local climate
• Ability to regularly sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and use stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including an OSHA-compliant respirator
• Ability to safely operate a company-provided service vehicle

Demonstrates expertise in pest management services, including inspection, application of pest control products, and customer education. Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to build customer relationships while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
