As a Facility Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the upkeep of site infrastructure and the maintenance of both facility and production machinery. Your daily tasks will involve conducting diagnostics, performing detailed analysis, and calibrating various electro-mechanical components, including solenoid valves, timers, relays, and electrical regulators.
Core Responsibilities:- Execute essential facility tasks and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure the integrity of plumbing and air systems by repairing leaks and blockages, while also managing electrical and lighting fixture installations.
- Apply basic welding and carpentry skills to support site needs.
- Help ensure operational continuity by installing and servicing key infrastructure like HVAC units, compressors, elevators, and water systems.
- Support production efficiency by maintaining and setting up equipment such as grinders, tow motors, hoists, and stretch wrappers.
- Oversee the upkeep of the company vehicle fleet.
- Provide emergency on-call support for critical systems like boilers and compressors on a rotating basis, including potential holiday or overtime coverage.
- Perform other tasks as requested by management.
2nd Shift, Sunday through Thursday, 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM.
- Developing preventive maintenance strategies.
- Repairing heavy-duty machinery.
- Background in facility maintenance.
- Diagnosing mechanical issues.
- Working with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems.
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Installing electrical components.
- Troubleshooting electrical systems.
- Holding an OSHA 10-Hour Certification.
- Servicing and installing HVAC units.
- Performing HVAC maintenance.
- Troubleshooting HVAC systems.
- Managing high voltage systems.
- Resolving pneumatic system issues.
- Executing general repair and maintenance.
- Experience with industrial electrical systems.
- Working with hydraulic components and systems.
- Wiring and installing industrial equipment.
