The Fleet Assistant/Runner is responsible for transporting vehicles between locations, responding to breakdown situations, and supporting overall fleet operations. This role ensures vehicles are delivered safely, efficiently, and in proper working condition while assisting with basic logistical and operational needs.

• Transport vehicles between company locations, customer sites, repair facilities, and dealerships
• Respond to vehicle breakdowns by delivering replacement vehicles or coordinating service/towing
• Perform basic vehicle inspections (fuel level, tire pressure, visible damage) before and after transport
• Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition
• Run parts, paperwork, or equipment between locations as needed
• Ensure timely pickups and deliveries according to schedule or dispatch instructions
• Communicate with dispatchers, service teams, and customers regarding vehicle status
  
  Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies

Required:

• Valid driver’s license (clean driving record is a big deal)
• Ability to drive different vehicle types (manual sometimes a plus)
• Basic knowledge of cars (not necessarily a mechanic)
• Good navigation skills (GPS + local awareness)
• Reliability and time management
• Experience in delivery, rideshare, or transportation
• Familiarity with fleet systems or dispatch apps
• Customer service skills (especially if interacting with clients)

• Ability to sit and drive for long periods
• Sometimes lifting light parts or equipment
• Working outdoors in various weather
• Flexibility with schedules (some roles are on-call for breakdowns)
