CDL Class A Driver * McDonough, GA

Veltri, Inc. is an establish transportation company with over 50 years in business. We are a growing/stable trucking company come check us out! We are looking for an experienced F/T CDL A Driver to work out of our McDonough, GA location.

These shifts run from GA to TN.

Monday to Friday EVENING START

Start window 1600 (4:00 PM) shifts run 10 to 12 hours

• Home at end of shift
• Pay rate is $27 per hour Straight Time
• Bi-weekly payroll

• Be at least 23 years old
• Have a minimum of two years recent verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Have a valid CDL Class A License
• Meet DOT requirements

• Drive trucks with various capacities to transport goods to and from specified locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Follow traffic laws and regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure proper maintenance of the truck
• Communicate with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules

• Proven experience as a Truck Driver
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
• Strong knowledge of load/unload procedures
• Excellent driving record
