FORKLIFT OPERATOR/ORDER PULLER – MCDONOUGH, GA | $17/HR

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Forklift Operator/Order Puller in McDonough, GA. In this fast-paced, hands-on role, you'll be responsible for accurately pulling and staging orders, preparing products for shipment, operating a forklift, and helping ensure daily shipping operations run smoothly.

IN A FORKLIFT OPERATOR/ORDER PULLER JOB YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Pulling UPS orders and accurately staging products for shipment
Reviewing pick tickets to ensure items are correct and properly prepared for shipping
Processing pick slips through UPS World Ship and ensuring labels and supplies are available and operational
Pulling products accurately and efficiently based on pick slips
Stretch-wrapping orders and inspecting products for damage before shipment
Properly staging orders for loading
Safely loading and unloading products from trailers
Operating a forklift while following all safety regulations
Maintaining current forklift certification
Assisting packers and other departments as needed
Maintaining a clean, organized, and tidy work area

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred
Ability to accurately pull and stage orders
Ability to safely operate a forklift and maintain current certification
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work overtime as assigned by management

PERKS:

$17.00/hr
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM
Consistent 4-day work week

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

End-of-the-month Fridays are mandatory workdays
Inventory day is a mandatory workday
