Production Supervisor - Material Handling Position Description

Supervise UAW employees in a fast‑paced warehouse environment. Daily duties include supervising the processing of all inbound material for putaway and ensuring the processing of all inbound orders for deliveries based on dock grid time. The supervisor must be able to work unsupervised, multi‑task, and not only complete each day’s goal but also increase performance while maintaining a safe work environment.

The building has a super shift concept with two start times at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm; inbound operations are completed on the 10:30 am shift and outbound on the 1:30 pm shift. The supervisor will work the 1:30 pm shift, is expected to work daily and weekend overtime, and must be willing to work any shift when required. The supervisor should have some warehousing experience, preferably with SAP systems, inventory, and working with UAW employees.
