Inventory Control Clerk
The Inventory Control Clerk works as part of a team to ensure warehouse inventory accuracy through cycle counts and other auditing procedures. The role requires handling multiple tasks simultaneously, problem‑solving effectively, and reconciling inventory discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
Responsibilities- Conduct daily scheduled cycle counts and audits using RF devices and manual tracking sheets.
- Maintain clear, concise, and detailed records of all counting activities.
- Provide inventory information and adjust records based on physical verification and WM research.
- Analyze inventory discrepancies by researching variances using multiple data points and identifying root causes, then formulate recommendations for improvement.
- Audit outbound shipments for e‑commerce, wholesale, and retail customers to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with inventory reporting, providing detailed reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and adjustments.
- Assist with VAS projects as requested and be willing to transfer to other departments to support other areas of the operation.
- Adhere to Tory Burch Safety Standards, Standard Operating Procedures, and Code of Conduct.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1.5+ years of related experience in a distribution environment.
- Experience utilizing warehouse equipment and systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
English proficiency (speaking and understanding) required. - Basic math skills to understand location quantities, thresholds, and capacity.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills with strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships within the distribution center.
- Physical ability to lift items up to 35 lbs, walk the warehouse floor, and stand for extended periods up to 12 hours.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed, including weekends and holidays.
