Requirements / QualificationsAll applicants MUST attach a copy of their High School Diploma or GED to the application and must meet ONE of requirements #1-#3 AND MEET requirements #4-#6:
1. Completed two years of study at an institution of higher education (or obtained 48-semester units or 72 quarter units)
2. Obtained an Associate's (or higher) degree, or
3. Pass the Reading, Math, and Ability-to-Assist test provided by the district with a score of 70% or better on all 3 exams. (Will accept copies of certificates from other districts)
4. Two (2) years of work experience with elementary school-aged students
5. Valid CA driver's license, valid automobile insurance, and clean DMV record
6. First Aid and CPR Certificate issued by an authorized agency, desired
