Paraprofessional; Adjusted Learning

McHenry Community Consolidated School District 15 is hiring a Paraprofessional (Adjusted Learning) for Edgebrook Elementary School, serving grades Pre‑K to 3. The position is full‑time (175 days) for the 2026‑2027 school year, effective as soon as possible.

• Job Title: Paraprofessional (Adjusted Learning)
• School: Edgebrook Elementary School
• Reports To: Building Principal
• Certification: Current and Valid Paraprofessional License
• Terms of Employment: 175 days – Full Time
• Start Date: ASAP

• Current and valid Paraprofessional License; 60 college credit hours or Work Keys Test/other ISBE requirement for obtaining the license.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

• Promote a safe environment, including physical intervention as needed according to protocol.
• Prefers CPI training or willingness to train.
• Work as a cooperating member of a team, communicating effectively with students, teachers, parents, and administration; positive attitude and dependability required.
• Willingness or experience working with young children with special needs.

• $17.50 per hour, plus benefits. District may provide additional credit for prior work experience.
