• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, medications, and patient education
• Support eye care treatments and surgeries
• Maintain patient flow and respond to patient needs
• Ensure accurate documentation and follow-up care
• Administer medications and perform patient care procedures as directed
• Document patient care and related information
• Review and maintain charts

• High School diploma
• Prefer education as a paraprofessional in ophthalmology or optometry
• Certification by JCAHPO as a technician required
• Good interpersonal/communicative skills needed
• Ability to stand frequently
• Good eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity needed

Demonstrates expertise in patient care procedures, including administering medications and supporting eye care treatments. Proficient in maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring patient flow while providing education and support to patients.
