Position SummaryThe DSP for the Day Program is responsible for performing the skills, training activities or services to client in a safe, effective, healthful and respectful manner.
Essential Functions- Responsible for direct client care. Duties include toileting, bathing, grooming, dressing etc.
- Perform skill training activities or service provisions in a safe, effective, respectful and healthful manner as outlined in each client’s Individual Plan (IP).
- Supervise clients’ performance of work on sub-contract work assignments.
- Observe assigned program clients’ behaviors and interactions.
- Respect the privacy, confidentiality and property of clients.
- Maintain ethical and professional boundaries.
- Keep and maintain appropriate and required records.
- Understand and follow appropriate policies, procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Provide regular, reliable, predictable attendance.
- When an outing is scheduled, transport clients in agency vehicle.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

- Education:
High School Graduate or GED (Required) - Experience:
1+ year(s) of experience in autism related field. - Computer

Evolv, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Other Requirements:
Valid driver’s license; ability to use phone, fax, copier, and file required.
