We have an exciting position open in the Innovation Excellence team:
Senior Specialist, Innovation Excellence Enablement
The jobholder ensures that business‑relevant innovation opportunities are supported, framed, routed within the Aptar organization, and owned by the right segment at the right moment-maximizing reuse, speed, and commercial pull. He/she operates entirely through influence, structure, and narrative. The role turns the IE organisation from a set of pillars into a system.
THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS
Network coordination
* Map innovation initiatives across segments and regions; capture outcomes, learnings, and reuse opportunities; and share best practices to reduce duplication.
* Facilitate adoption of created Innovation Excellence frameworks, tools, and processes through workshops, forums, and hands-on facilitation.
* Act as a key point of contact for network members; gather feedback, identify improvement opportunities, and escalate systemic issues with proposed solutions.
* Liaise and track priorities, surface needs, and enable cross-segment execution.
* Prepare dashboards and synthesized updates for IE reviews; collect formal and informal feedback to consolidate pain points and support resource allocation discussions
* Support the building of innovation narratives/communication for respective GMD / GLT, ensure the leadership discussion focused on key decisions such as choices, scaling, stopping / spinning out.
* Coordinate the PM / best-practices network (community of practice), connecting project leaders across sites and functions to share standards, tools, and delivery learnings.
* Plan and facilitate governance and network rhythms: recurring calls, quarterly reviews, working groups, and targeted deep dives on delivery challenges.
* Seek alignment on methods and ways of working and ensure rollout of improved processes and tools.
* When needed, support Customer Experience Center activities
Best Practices
* Support the building of governance for capture and reuse of project learnings, including after-action reviews, retrospectives, and standardised tagging/taxonomy.
* Coordinate with Data/IT and functional SMEs to align knowledge assets with tools and processes (e.g., project management systems, collaboration platforms, IP data), and reduce duplication.
* Facilitate capability building by enabling training content, onboarding materials, and communities of practice; track adoption and effectiveness of key standards.
* Maintain and curate the PM knowledge base (playbooks, templates, SOPs, lessons learned, FAQs), ensuring content quality, version control, and easy discoverability
* Help shape the commercial/communication storyline of each opportunity (e.g. "Why now?", "Why this segment?", "What must be proven before BU ownership?")
* Through analytics and data in the areas of IP and PPM, support early-stage invention disclosure processes and work closely with Legal to strengthen IP capture, clarity, and reuse.
* Maintain and continuously improve innovation, knowledge, and IP repositories to ensure information is accessible, connected, and reusable
WHAT YOU WILL BRING ON THE JOURNEY
* Good data analysis skills (data quality, KPI design, insight generation, storytelling with data); advanced Excel and familiarity with BI tools is an advantage.
* Demonstrated ability to build and sustain knowledge management practices (content governance, taxonomy, lessons learned) and improve reuse of standards.
* Experience in coordinating networks/communities across a matrix organisation; confident facilitator of working groups and stakeholder forums.
* Ability to influence and align senior stakeholders without direct authority; pragmatic, service-oriented, and comfortable in ambiguity.
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong attention to detail; able to translate complex delivery data into clear executive messages.
YOU SHOULD WORK HERE BECAUSE WE:
* attract and develop high performing people.
* promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
* allow for failure by allowing people to make mistakes through an open and trusting environment.
