Account Specialist – Capital Equipment

Location:

McHenry, IL

Schedule:

Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)
Hourly Range: $22 - $24 per hour

• Support capital equipment billing and account management programs
• Maintain accurate equipment serial records through reporting and audits
• Process billing transactions, including monthly, fixed‑rate, daily, and prepaid agreements
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of ERP capital equipment contracts
• Coordinate equipment shipments, returns, transfers, and demo equipment requests
• Process orders, return merchandise authorizations (RMAs), credits, debits, and billing adjustments
• Investigate and resolve equipment, shipping, and account discrepancies
• Assist with service and repair processes
• Document customer interactions and account activity
• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries through multiple communication channels

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, customer service, or a related administrative role
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Windows computer skills
• Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
