Alan Horticulture is looking for a Maintenance Operations Manager to take full ownership of our landscape maintenance operation in McHenry. This role is built for a proven leader who thrives in the field, understands people and equipment, and knows how to run a tight operation day in and day out.

As the Maintenance Operations Manager, you are fully responsible for the success of landscape maintenance operations at the McHenry branch. From crews and supervisors to schedules, equipment, and service quality—you set the tone and drive execution.

You will:

• Lead all daily landscape maintenance operations for the McHenry branch
• Manage supervisors, foremen, and crews to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to standard
• Own scheduling, routing, and ticket execution using Aspire
• Ensure labor, equipment, and materials are aligned to hit operational goals
• Coordinate fleet usage, preventative maintenance, and equipment readiness
• Solve problems in real time—weather, staffing, breakdowns, client issues
• Hold teams accountable to quality, safety, and performance expectations
• Partner with Account Managers and leadership to deliver excellent client outcomes

This is a hands‑on leadership role—you’re visible in the field, engaged with your team, and accountable for results.

• A strong operator with deep experience in commercial landscape maintenance
• A leader who commands respect in the field and builds strong teams
• Organized, decisive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities at once
• Fluent in day‑to‑day operations: crews, routes, equipment, and timelines
• Confident using systems like Aspire (or similar) to manage work and data
• Someone who takes pride in running a clean, disciplined, high‑performing operation
