Description:

Oven Room Operators in transformer manufacturing operate industrial drying ovens, vacuum pumps, and filtration systems to treat transformer active parts (cores and windings). This role involves controlling temperature, pressure, and cycle times according to engineering specifications to remove moisture, ensuring product quality and safety. This is a full-time position working on the first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with occasional overtime available on Saturdays.

• Load, unload, and operate large industrial drying ovens and vacuum systems for transformer components.

• Set and monitor temperature, pressure, and time cycles based on specific work orders.

• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (PPE, lock‑out/tag‑out) and monitor for product defects.

• Record production data and maintain oven logs.

• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred but not required.

• Ability to read and understand technical work orders and safety procedures.

• Basic understanding of mechanical equipment.

• Ability to work in a very warm environment.
