The Winding Operator will set up a manual coiling machine and use hand tools to coil aluminum and insulation.

• Set up and operate manual coiling machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and specification sheets to determine machine settings.
• Coil aluminum, apply insulation and tape to coils.
• Use precision measuring instruments like height gauges to ensure coils meet technical specifications.
• Cut, bend and solder.
• Perform minor repairs, clean machinery, and strictly follow safety protocols.
• Record production data.

• Experience with winding machines and hand tools preferred, but not required.
• High attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic electronics and ability to read blueprints is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift materials (often 50+ lbs) and stand or sit for 8‑hour shifts.
