Brand & Content Manager

This individual contributor role has no direct reports and is ideal for a strong storyteller who enjoys creating content, driving campaigns, and collaborating across teams to deliver exceptional consumer experiences. As Brand & Content Manager, you’ll shape how consumers interact with the Medela brand across digital and traditional channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage content across digital, social media, website, email, video, and campaign channels.
  • Lead content development for product launches, consumer education initiatives, and integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Transform complex product, technical, and clinical information into clear, engaging, and consumer‑friendly content.
  • Develop compelling storytelling that strengthens brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
  • Plan and manage editorial calendars, content roadmaps, and campaign timelines.
  • Coordinate content execution across multiple marketing channels to ensure a consistent customer experience.
  • Partner closely with Creative, Brand, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, and Communications teams to execute content strategies.
  • Maintain and champion Medela's brand voice, messaging framework, editorial standards, and content guidelines.
  • Manage content reviews, approvals, and updates while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with localization partners to adapt content for international markets.
  • Analyze content performance, engagement metrics, SEO results, and campaign effectiveness to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Support content governance, asset management, and best practices for content organization.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, UX, Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Exceptional copywriting, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to simplify technical, clinical, or complex information into compelling consumer‑facing content.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy, customer journeys, and audience engagement.
  • Experience creating content across multiple digital channels, including web, email, social media, and video.
  • Experience working within established brand guidelines, editorial standards, and messaging frameworks.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS), SEO best practices, analytics platforms, and content performance metrics.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment with multiple stakeholders and cross‑functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in content creation, copywriting, content marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms, content planning tools, digital marketing channels, and accessibility best practices.
  • Experience managing editorial calendars, content workflows, and approval processes preferred.
