Job Overview

We are looking for highly motivated artisans to join our Ace Handyman Services franchise in McHenry, IL. The role is part‑time with the potential to evolve into a full‑time opportunity.

Part‑time, 2–3 days per week (Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm). No weekend work. Employees are classified as W‑2 with the flexibility of an independent job.

Hourly rate: $26.00–$28.00.

• Perform multi‑trade tasks including plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical, drywall, and painting.
• Complete all assignments in a timely, professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment and tools.
• Communicate effectively with management, office personnel, fellow employees, homeowners, suppliers, property managers, and commercial customers.
• Inspect job sites, identify necessary repairs, and discuss additional work with customers.
• Execute troubleshooting and provide prompt, professional solutions for problem situations.

• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following trades: plumbing, carpentry, tile, electrical, drywall, painting.
• Independent thinker with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to present oneself in a clean‑cut, professional manner.
