Position Overview

SY 25-26 Social Worker - JO-, located in McHenry, IL. The role is for a licensed School Social Worker to serve a K‑5 elementary school during the 2025‑2026 school year.

• Start on August 14th and work full time through May 28, 2026.
• Daily hours: 8:45AM – 4:00PM (staff report at 8:05AM on Wednesdays for professional development; no requirement to attend).
• Work 7 hours and 20 minutes per day with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch.
• Maintain a caseload of all elementary grades (K‑5).
• Support three self‑contained SES classrooms for students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
• The program currently serves 16 students, with another full‑time social worker supporting the program.

• Master’s Degree in Social Work.
• Licensed School Social Worker with a Professional Educator’s License (PEL) or equivalent endorsement.
