This is a full-time, on-site role for a Staff Accountant at Arcilla Mining & Land Company, LLC, located in McIntyre, GA. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and managing general ledger entries. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, tax preparation, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
The ideal candidate will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of the company’s financial operations.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, general ledger management, and budgeting
- Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of tax preparation, compliance, and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in a mining or resource-based industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with team members effectively
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Great attitude with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
