SummaryWe are currently seeking a Construction Laborer to join our team. As a Construction Laborer, you’ll be the backbone of our job sites. Your work will directly support skilled tradespeople, keep projects running smoothly, and ensure that every site is safe, clean, and ready for the next phase. From preparing materials to assisting in installations, you’ll be hands‑on in bringing blueprints to life.
This is an onsite position at our McKeesport, PA location.
Responsibilities- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, hazards, and obstructions.
- Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist carpenters, masons, electricians, and other skilled trades as needed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Dig trenches, backfill holes, and perform basic site preparation tasks.
- Follow all safety protocols, wearing protective gear and reporting hazards immediately.
- Support site organization by maintaining clear walkways and properly storing materials.
- Strong work ethic, reliability and willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, with an adaptable and flexible working style
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively with others to support the team
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor preferred but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift 50+ lbs, work on your feet, and handle outdoor conditions.
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety practices is a plus.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions from supervisors.
- Experience working with a government contracting construction company
- Experience working with an ANC (Alaskan Native Corporation)
The salary range for this position is $70,000-$75,000. Also comes with $500 monthly truck allowance and $100 monthly phone allowance.
