Press Operator

We are seeking a Press Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to set up, run, and maintain specialized presses to shape and form powder carbide.

• Prepare mold, pin, bag, spacers, and stomper for adding graded powders
• Retrieve graded powder from storage area based on pack slip requirements
• Add necessary amount of correct graded powders to bag
• Tie off bag and prepare load for press
• Mark brass tags as required for identification
• Record required information on pack slip and can card
• Position load into isostatic press
• Operate and monitor isostatic press
• Remove load from press
• Remove pressed part(s) from mold and bag
• Scribe identification numbers on parts and deliver to saw room
• Perform preventative maintenance as required
• Keep press area and equipment clean and organized
• Cut pressed parts in saw room to shop requirements to fulfill customer orders
• Weigh parts as needed press
• Perform inventory functions

• High school diploma or equivalent
