Registered Nurse; RN - Long Term Acute Care

Select Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Long Term Acute Care position in East McKeesport, Pennsylvania.

Position: Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - McKeesport (inside UPMC McKeesport)

Schedule: 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., night shift (no rotating shifts)

Compensation: $37.90–$51.00 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Document accurately and timely using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately
• Perform Rapid Response and code events competently
• Instruct and counsel patients and families
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Valid State Registered Nurse (RN) License
• BLS required at hire
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• Clinical experience preferred
