Schedule:

Mondays, Tuesday, and Thursdays 9:00am-5:30pm, Wednesdays 8:30am-5:00pm, and Fridays 8:00am-4:30pm
- No Weekends or Holidays required!

As a Professional Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate, high-quality patient care as part of a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Using clinical expertise, critical thinking, and evidence-based practice, you will coordinate and provide care for patients and their families while fostering meaningful partnerships with physicians, providers, and support staff. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on patient outcomes by addressing the whole person, including their physical, social, emotional, and educational needs throughout the continuum of care.

• Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care that promotes quality outcomes, patient safety, and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and develop individualized plans of care.
• Assess, triage, and manage patient needs while utilizing sound clinical judgment and critical thinking skills.
• Assist providers with patient assessments, treatment plans, procedures, education, and follow-up care.
• Identify and address clinical, social, psychological, safety, and spiritual factors that may impact patient health and well-being.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and self-care needs through in-person, telephone, and written communication.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation that supports continuity of care and effective communication among providers.
• Serve as a patient advocate by helping individuals navigate healthcare needs, barriers to care, and available resources.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and utilize evidence-based practice to enhance patient care, safety, and outcomes.
• Support the onboarding, development, and mentorship of students, new staff, and colleagues while fostering a culture of learning and professional growth.
• Actively engage in shared governance, process improvement initiatives, and departmental goals aimed at advancing professional nursing practice.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with patients, families, providers, and team members to create a compassionate and respectful care environment.
• Demonstrate accountability for professional development, lifelong learning, and maintaining clinical excellence.
• Promote a culture of safety by identifying risks, communicating concerns, and supporting a healthy and productive workplace.
